The mountains in the heart of the Swiss alps are my home. And sharing my passion for climbing, skiing and mountaineering with guests from around the world, creating unique experiences & memories that will last a lifetime is what makes me happy.
About Me
I grew up and went to school in Andermatt, Switzerland. As the son of a Swiss ski and driving instructor and a BASI ski instructor from England, I was born with a passion for skiing and ski touring.
After an apprenticeship as a surveying draughtsman and training as a car chauffeur, I became a fully certified Swiss ski instructor in 1994 and three years later successfully completed the mountain guide training.
In addition to guiding, I have been involved in training the next generation of snowsports instructors as a member of the backcountry education team of Swiss Snowsports for several years now. Furthermore I continue to teach future youth leaders in mountaineering & sport climbing as a J+S expert and am a board member of our local SAC chapter.
